Seats for Souls

James 2:14-17
14 What good is it, dear brothers and sisters, if you say you have faith but don’t show it by your actions? Can that kind of faith save anyone? 15 Suppose you see a brother or sister who has no food or clothing, 16 and you say, “Good-bye and have a good day; stay warm and eat well”-but then you don’t give that person any food or clothing. What good does that do? 17 So you see, faith by itself isn’t enough. Unless it produces good deeds, it is dead and useless.

The question in verse 14 has challenged me to step out in faith, far beyond my comfort zone! I want to invite you to go with me!  We’re adjusting the floor plans of the Walmart facility to a more manageable build out price with the hopes of making it work!  While waiting on this long process, I felt strongly that the Holy Spirit spoke to me specifically about “Activating Our Faith” as a church!  So we’re going to raise $30,000 over the next 3 months of the summer to purchase all the seats (Sanctuary, Kids Space, The Connection, The Foyer Seating, and The Offices) before we even get the building! How’s that for activating our faith!

When you give to this, here’s a few things I need you to be aware of:
1.) This is an offering! It is not in place of your Tithe (in the Bible, a tithe means a tenth or 10%) An offering is going beyond the tithe.
2.) You can give online (click here) and you will still get tax credit for this at the end of the year!
3.) I need you to specify on the offering envelop under the category, OTHER, write “Seats for Souls” and the amount next to it!
4.) Your investment into souls has an eternal reward! WOW! That’s honestly what it’s all about!
